About Us

Our Mission

Safety Kay helps children develop the real-world safety skills they need to navigate the world confidently at school, at home, and online. Through interactive workshops and practical resources, we equip children with strategies that help them recognize risks, make safer choices, and respond appropriately in challenging situations.

Why It  Matters

Children today face a wide range of safety risks both online and in everyday environments. Nearly 12 million children in the U.S. are exposed to cyber risks, including cyberbullying and online predators, while millions more experience preventable injuries each year. Teaching children practical safety skills early helps them build awareness, confidence, and better decision-making habits that stay with them as they grow.

Who We Serve

Safety Kay partners with organizations that support children’s learning and well-being, including:

• Elementary and middle schools (K–8)
• Parent-teacher organizations and family engagement events
• Youth and after-school programs
• Community organizations and camps
• Parents seeking practical safety guidance for their children

Our Approach

Safety Kay workshops are designed to be interactive, engaging, and age-appropriate. Programs combine real-life scenarios, guided discussion, and practical strategies children can remember and apply. By teaching safety concepts in ways children understand, we help them build confidence in recognizing risks and seeking help when needed.

Meet the Real Life SafetyKay

Krystle, the founder of Safety Kay, is a safety professional with over a decade of experience in safety and risk prevention across both public and private sectors. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Throughout her career, she has focused on preventing injuries, reducing hazards, and promoting safer environments for individuals and communities.

Her work has been recognized by the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), where she was named Safety Professional of the Year for both the Gulf Coast Chapter and Region III.

Through her professional experience, Krystle recognized how important it is to introduce safety awareness and decision-making skills at an early age. This realization led to the creation of Safety Kay, where she combines her professional safety expertise with engaging, age-appropriate education to help children develop practical safety skills they can use in everyday life.

Trusted by Schools & Communities

Safety Kay works with schools, families, and community organizations to support safe learning environments for children. Our programs help educators and parents reinforce safety awareness both in and outside the classroom, ensuring children have the knowledge and confidence to navigate everyday situations safely.

Our Impact

Safety Kay programs help children recognize unsafe situations, identify trusted adults, and make safer decisions in everyday life. By working with schools, families, and community organizations, we help reinforce safety awareness both inside and outside the classroom. Our goal is to support environments where children feel safe, confident, and prepared to navigate the world around them.
